Positions
- In the FlexAMS System, positions are the foundation of all permissions within the system. By assigning a staff member to a position, you are giving them the permissions that are associated with that position. On this page, positions are not assigned to individuals, it is an overview of all positions, how many active and inactive members are assigned to that position, and what active staff are assigned to that position.
- In the “Corporate Information” tab, click the “Positions” tab. The table at the top of the page lists all currently active positions in the system along with how many active and inactive members belong to each position.
- After selecting a position, each staff member assigned to the selected position will be listed along with the position collections associated with the position.
- Positions beginning with the (Aux) prefix are auxiliary positions that can be assigned to a staff member in addition to their primary role. This will add them to any collection that includes that position.
Positions Collections
- In the FlexAMS System, Positions Collections are groups for people with certain positions. You most likely will not have to modify or create any new collections as they will be created for you in your FlexAMS on-boarding.
- In the “Corporate Information” tab, click the “Positions Collections” tab. Select an existing collection from the drop down list. This will display a table in the middle of the page that lists all positions that currently belong to the selected collection.
- If you wish to add a position to the collection, you can do so by selecting the position you wish to add in the “Add Position” drop down list and then click “Save”.
- You can configure the collection to include ONLY staff members with the specified positions in the table OR include all staff members EXCEPT those with the specified positions in the table.
- Scrolling further down the page, you can view all staff belonging to the selected position as well as the features that are associated with the collection.
