- In the Flex system, you may have many different forms that should not all necessarily be available to view, edit, or delete by all users in the system. You may control what roles have access to certain content by using Access Policies.
- Navigate to the “Corporate Information” tab in the Main Menu. From here, you will see “Form Access Policy”, “Report Access Policy”, “Client Access Policy”, and “Scheduler Access Policy”. These are all in the form of Data Grids.
- Go to “Form Access Policy” to view and edit which roles in the system have access to specific forms. You can edit which roles can Create, Update, Read, and Delete any of the forms on the list by clicking on the pencil icon on the left hand side. Click on one of the drop down lists in the desired column and select the role you wish to grant access to. Click the small check mark on the left hand side to update the row.
*NOTE* Clicking the "X" on the right hand side of any row will entirely delete that form and all of its permissions from the Form Access Policy.
(3) The “Report Access Policy” is similar to the Form Access Policy, but sets permissions for Reports.
(4) The “Client Access Policy” page allows you to edit what roles have access to specific groups of patients. Edit these permissions in the same fashion as other Data Grids.
