- Similarly to uploading images, the FlexAMS system allows you to scan and upload hard copy documents. You are allowed to upload 1 document per record.
- Navigate to the “Scanned Documents” page and select the appropriate client. Fill in the appropriate information about the document and click the “Scan/Upload” button near the bottom of the page.
- You can also view previously uploaded documents by selecting an existing record and clicking the “View Document” button near the bottom of the form.
*NOTE* You may be prompted to install additional software that is required to use the scanning functionality. If you cannot get the scanning software to work, the best option would be to scan the file directly to your computer and then upload the scanned file.
- From here, you will see two options at the top of the pop up box, Scan and Upload. For uploading files that are already saved to your computer, choose Upload and refer to Uploading Images.
- *Note* The only acceptable file types for uploading documents are JPG/JPEG, PNG, and PDF. All other file types, such as Microsoft Word documents (.doc, .docx), will be rejected. Click here to see how you can save a Word document as a PDF file.
- After successfully scanning the document, click “Submit” and close the window when it is finished.
- It should now say "View Document". Click "Save" at the top of the form to save the record.
