Known Issues while using Google Chrome with FlexAMS:
- Site not secure pop up
- Denial to the site
- No response on system login
- Form distortion
- Signature not being accepted on certain forms
For Chrome related issues:
*NOTE* While following these steps may temporarily fix any existing issues, it is recommended to try using Mozilla Firefox instead of Google Chrome with the FlexAMS System. Users on Apple devices should avoid using Safari and use Firefox with FlexAMS. Firefox can be downloaded for free by going to: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
- Click the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of your Google Chrome window and then click “Settings”.
- On the left hand side of the settings page, click “Privacy and Security” and then click “Clear Browsing Data” which should be the first option on the page.
- In the window that appears, the only option you need to have selected is the “Cached Images and files”. Click “Clear Data” and wait for the process to complete. This may take a few minutes to complete if it is the first time being done.
- Next, navigate to your FlexAMS website. Before logging in with your username and password, click the button located to the left of the web address that says “Not secure”. From this drop down box, click “Site Settings” at the bottom.
- From here, ensure that the site listed at the top of the page is the correct web address for your FlexAMS site. Then, simply click “Clear data” next to the cookies and the problem should be resolved.
For Microsoft Edge related issues:
- Click the 3 horizontal dots in the top right corner of the Edge window and click “Settings” towards the bottom.
- On the left hand side, click the “Privacy and services” tab. In the following page, look down towards the section titled “Clearing browsing data”. Click “Choose what to clear”.
- In the following window, set the “Time range” drop down list to All time. Next, uncheck all categories besides “Cached images and files”. Be sure to scroll all the way through the list to ensure no other data is accidentally lost.
- Next, navigate to the login page of your FlexAMS site. From here, click on “Not secure” that is located to the left of the web address. In the drop down box, click the “Cookies” option.
- In the following window, click the arrow next to the website, which should be your FlexAMS website. After clicking the arrow, “Cookies” and “Local storage” should appear with small folder icons next to them. Click “Cookies” so that it is highlighted and click the “Remove” button on the bottom of the page. Click “Done” and the problem should be resolved now.
